One Love School was founded on 2nd March 1992 by the Kesse Family. The school offers working parents the opportunity to leave their children in a safe, secure, loving and creative environment where learning is offered in a way that meets the child’s needs. Originally a nursery for children aged 0-5, the school’s aspirations of being at One in Unity, show Love to each other and have Peace in our hearts, created One Love’s motto of Love, Peace and Unity.
Having been established for over 30 years the school prides itself in being a leader in educating children. There has been a consistent team with teaching staff being at One Love for over 25 years. That has enabled the school to offer the children consistency and a higher level of care. Our team of staff are dedicated and committed to their job roles and the children. They have a good understanding of the children and have supported children to thrive and grow into successful, well grounded young people and adults.
The school has continued to grow and develop and has progressed through the generations with a strong commitment to transitioning the school through the stages all the way to JHS provision. The Founders of One Love school are a family who have established professional backgrounds in Education, Health and Social Care on a local and international level. Having achieved local and international awards they pride themselves in having extensive involvement and oversight of the school and are keen to maintain and grow the school to its highest level.
The school remains within the family with the Proprietress being the Founders Daughter, Barbara Kesse and all the family, namely children and grandchildren remain involved and committed to the school and its progress.
